Description: The Social and Population Sciences Research Consortium (SPaRC) and UCSF students are convening a panel, “Race, Racism, and Health Inequalities: An Interdisciplinary Conversation Across the Social & Population Sciences.” The panel will feature UCSF faculty discussing approaches to interdisciplinary research and dialogue on race, medicine, and health. Faculty will be chosen to represent the distinct though connected disciplines of the consortium, and will present to the audience gathered the methods, theories, questions, problems, and solutions typically taken up in their fields when racial disparaties in health are noticed, attended to, and investigated.
