California Science Center hosts the US and California stop of a world tour of artifacts from the Egyptian tomb excavation.

Description:  As part of the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, the California Science Center will host the world premiere of King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh. Now the largest exhibition of King Tut, it consists of over 150 authentic artifacts from the tomb, with 60 traveling outside Egypt for the first time. An immersive history of the pharaoh’s life is on offer via multimedia presentations. And there is education of the use of scientific analysis and technology to reveal new information about his grave and other surrounding as well as newly discovered tomb sites.
